Side Airbag - Project 8 (G2278627): Installation

    • Install the side airbag.
    • Install and tighten the 2 nuts.

    Torque  : 7Nm 

  2. Connect the side airbag electrical connector.
  3. Install the front row seat backrest cover to the seat assembly.
  4. NOTE:
    • Take care not to damage the seat cover.
    • Do not use excessive force when installing the component.

    Secure the front row seat backrest cover to the upper trim.

  5. Install the front row seat backrest cover to the trim panel.
  6. Install the cover clip.
  7. Install the 2 cover clips.
  8. Install the screw and the side airbag cover.
  9. Install the side airbag cover to the 8 clips.
    • Install the trim panel.
    • Install the 2 screws.
    • Install the bracket.
    • Install the 5 screws.
  12. Install the front row seat switchpack.

  13. Install the front row seat backrest cover.

  14. Connect the start up battery ground cable.

    Refer to: STARTUP BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT
