Side Air Curtain - Project 8 (G2248428): Installation

  1. CAUTION: Do not allow the side air curtain to twist. Failure to follow this instruction may result in damage to the component.
    • Install the side air curtain.
    • Install and tighten the 6 bolts.

    Torque  : 9Nm 

    • Connect the electrical connector.
    • Secure the 2 harness clips.
    • Install the 2 brackets.
    • Install and tighten the 2 nuts.

      Torque  : 9Nm 

    • Install and tighten the 2 bolts.

    Torque  : 9Nm 

  4. Install the headliner.

    Refer to: HEADLINER

  5. Connect the startup battery ground cable.

    Refer to: STARTUP BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT

  6. Use the Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) approved diagnostic equipment to configure the side air curtain.
