Driver Airbag - Project 8 (G2248426): Installation

The following step(s) applies to:

NAS vehicles

WARNING: Make sure the driver airbag wiring harness is installed to the retaining clips and located as highlighted in the illustration.

CAUTION: Take extra care not to damage the wiring harnesses.

- Connect the 2 electrical connectors.
- Secure the 2 wiring harness clips.
The following step(s) applies to:

Non NAS vehicles
WARNING: Make sure the driver airbag wiring harness is installed to the retaining clips and located as highlighted in the illustration.

CAUTION: Take extra care not to damage the wiring harnesses.

- Connect the electrical connector.
- Secure the 2 wiring harness clips.
The following step(s) applies to:

All vehicles
WARNING: Driver airbag installation can be confirmed by hearing 2 audible clicks, 1 for each clip.

CAUTION: Take extra care not to damage the wiring harnesses.

Install the driver airbag.
Connect the startup battery ground cable.
Refer to: STARTUP BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT
If a new component has been installed, configure that component using the Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) approved diagnostic equipment.
