Transfer Case Bush (G1573642): Removal

  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.

    Refer to: Battery Disconnect and Connect (General Procedures).

  2. WARNING: Make sure to support the vehicle with axle stands.

    Raise and support the vehicle.

  3. Remove the transfer case.

    Refer to: INSTALLATION  (Transfer Case).

    Install the special tool as shown.

    Special Tool(s):  JLR-205-1002

  7. G11292482
    • Using the special tools, press out the transfer case bush and discard.
    • Install the special tools as shown.

    Special Tool(s):  JLR-205-1002, JLR-205-1004

  8. Remove the special tools.
