Outer Constant Velocity (CV) Joint Boot (G1557132): Installation

  1. CAUTION: Make sure that a new component is installed.

    • Clean and inspect the components for deterioration.
    • Pack the outer CV joint with the grease supplied.
  2. NOTE: Make sure that the outer CV joint boot is correctly installed.

  3. NOTE: Make sure the retaining clips are correctly seated

  4. CAUTION: Make sure that a new component is installed.
    NOTE: Install new retaining clip.
