Front HALFSHAFT LH (G1569226): Installation

  1. CAUTION: Install a new snap ring.

  2. CAUTION:
    • Make sure that the rear halfshaft circlip is installed correctly by pulling the halfshaft gently to make sure it is engaged.
    • Make sure no damage occurs to the halfshaft seal when installing the halfshaft.
    • To avoid damage to the halfshaft constant velocity (CV) joints and boots, do not allow the CV joints to exceed 18 degrees of travel.

  3. CAUTION: Make sure that a new nut is installed.

    Torque Specification: 90 Nm

  7. CAUTION:
    • Make sure that a new nut is installed.
    • Do not use air tools to install the nut. Failure to follow this instruction may result in damage to the component.
