Installation Procedure

  1. Using the J 35582  and a hammer, install the rear output shaft seal into the transfer case. See Special Tools .
  2. Install the rear propeller shaft. Refer to Propeller Shaft Replacement - One Piece .
  3. Inspect the transfer case fluid level. Refer to Transfer Case Fluid Replacement .
