Wiper Transmission Replacement

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice . Fastener Tightening Specifications: Refer to Fastener Tightening Specifications . Preliminary Procedures Remove the wiper arms. Refer to Wiper Arm Replacement . Remove the air inlet grille panel. Refer to Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement . Remove the windshield frame reinforcement. Disconnect the wiper transmission electrical connector from the main engine harness. Push the wiper transmission electrical harness grommet into the plenum area.
1	Bolt, Windshield Wiper Motor Tip: Tighten bolts in sequence as shown upon installation. Tighten bolts to specified torque value. Tighten: 9 N.m (80 lb in)
2	Bolt, Windshield Wiper Motor Tighten: 9 N.m (80 lb in)
3	Bolt, Windshield Wiper Motor Tighten: 9 N.m (80 lb in)
4	Module Assembly, Windshield Washer System Tip: Raise the forward edge of the module assembly out of the plenum panel first followed by wiper motor.
