Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Remove the tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
  3. Remove the brake rotor. Refer to Rear Brake Rotor Replacement (J55) or Rear Brake Rotor Replacement (JL9) .

  5. Disconnect the ABS sensor wire connector.

  7. Remove the wheel bearing/hub bolts.
  8. Remove the wheel bearing/hub and brake shield.
