Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the front air deflector. Refer to Front Air Deflector Replacement .
  2. Disconnect the engine harness electrical connector (1) from the secondary air injection (AIR) pump.

  3. Disconnect the AIR pump inlet hose quick connect fitting from the AIR pump. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .

  4. Disconnect the AIR pump outlet hose quick connect fitting from the AIR pump. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .

  5. Remove the AIR pump bolt.

  6. Loosen the AIR pump nuts.
  7. Lift up and pull out in order to remove the AIR pump from the cradle bracket.
