Front Side Door Window Channel Replacement

Front Side Door Window Channel Replacement

Callout Component Name
Fastener Tightening Specifications:  Refer to Fastener Tightening Specifications .

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Position the front side door window approximately half way down in the door.
  2. Remove the front door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  3. Remove the front door water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  4. Remove the front window garnish molding. Refer to Front Side Door Opening Frame Garnish Molding Replacement .
  5. Remove the front side door inner belt sealing strip. Refer to Sealing Strip Replacement - Front Door Window Belt Inner .
  6. Tape the window to the door frame to prevent it from moving.
  7. Remove the front door window regulator. Refer to Front Side Door Window Regulator Replacement .
  8. Remove the front door window. Refer to Front Side Door Window Replacement .
1 Window Run Channel, Front Door
Tip:  Pull the window run channel from the door frame channel.
