Checks Action
The lubricant is contaminated. Drain and flush the axle housing thoroughly. Refill with the correct lubricant. Refer to Lubricant Replacement - Rear Drive Axle (8.0/8.6 Inch Axle) .
The clutch plates are deteriorated. Replace the clutch plates. Refer to the following:
