Test Description

The numbers below refer to the step numbers on the diagnostic table.

  1. 2:  This step tests if the sensors internal battery level is low.
  2. 3:  This step tests if the malfunction was system or vehicle condition related.
  3. 5:  This step tests if the sensors internal roll switch is functioning properly.
  4. 6:  This step tests if the malfunction was corrected by sensor replacement of if the malfunction still exists in the EGM or LGM.
DTC C0750, C0755, C0760 or C0765

Step Action Yes No
1 Did you perform the Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle? Go to Step 2  Go to Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle
  1. Install a scan tool.
  2. Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF.
  3. With a scan tool, observe the Suspect Pressure Sensor Mode Data parameter in Data Display.
Does the scan tool indicate that the suspect Pressure Sensor Mode is Low Bat?
Go to Step 6  Go to Step 3 
Since some occurrences of this DTC are caused by certain vehicle conditions. Review the tire pressure monitor (TPM) system with the customer to verify the conditions under which the DTC set.
Did vehicle conditions cause this DTC to set?
Go to Diagnostic Aids  Go to Step 4 
4 Learn the tire pressure sensors. Refer to Tire Pressure Sensor Learn .
Did a horn chirp sound when learning the suspect sensor?
Go to Step 5  Go to Step 6 
  1. Test drive the vehicle above 32 km/h (20 mph) for 10 seconds.
  2. With the scan tool observe the Suspect Pressure Sensor Mode Data parameter.
Does the Suspect Pressure Sensor Mode data parameter change from Wake to Drive above 32 km/h (20 mph)?
System OK Go to Step 6 
Replace the suspect tire pressure sensor. Refer to Tire Pressure Sensor Replacement .
Did a horn chirp sound when learning the suspect sensor?
Go to Step 8  Go to Step 7 
7 Replace the endgate module (EGM) or liftgate module (LGM) switch assembly. Refer to Control Module References for replacement, setup and programming.
Did you complete the replacement?
Go to Step 8  -

  1. Use the scan tool in order to clear the DTCs.
  2. Operate the vehicle within the conditions for running the DTC.
Does the DTC reset?
Go to Step 2  System OK
