DTC DETECTION LOGIC

NOTE:

The Signal Tech II Tool [- (NI-50190)] can be used to perform the following functions: Refer to the Signal Tech II User Guide for additional information.

Activate and display TPMS sensor IDs
Display tire pressure reported by the TPMS sensor
Read TPMS DTCs
Register TPMS sensor IDs

C1708-00	[NO DATA] FL(No data front left)	Diagnosis condition	When ignition switch is ON.
		Signal (terminal)	-
		Threshold	Tire pressure data signal from the front LH wheel tire pressure sensor cannot be detected for more than 10 minutes of driving above 16 mph (25 km/h).
		Diagnosis delay time	-
C1709-00	[NO DATA] FR(No data front right)	Diagnosis condition	When ignition switch is ON.
		Signal (terminal)	-
		Threshold	Tire pressure data signal from the front RH wheel tire pressure sensor cannot be detected for more than 10 minutes of driving above 16 mph (25 km/h).

C1710-00	[NO DATA] RR(No data rear right)	Diagnosis condition	When ignition switch is ON.

		Threshold	Tire pressure data signal from the rear RH wheel tire pressure sensor cannot be detected for more than 10 minutes of driving above 16 mph (25 km/h).

POSSIBLE CAUSE

Driving in area with radio interference.
Tire pressure sensor ID registration incomplete
Tire pressure sensor
Harness or connectors
Remote keyless entry receiver

DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE

TIRE PRESSURE SENSOR ID REGISTRATION
1. Perform tire pressure sensor ID registration. Refer to Description .

GO TO 2.
PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION
1. CONSULT
  1. Drive at a speed of 16 mph (25 km/h) or more for 3 minutes, and then drive the vehicle at any speed for 10 minutes.
    NOTE: Avoid driving in areas with radio interference.
  2. Stop the vehicle.
  3. Ignition switch ON.
  4. Select "Self Diagnostic Result" mode of "BCM(AIR PRESSURE MONITOR)".
  5. Check DTC.
Is DTC "C1708-00", "C1709-00", "C1710-00", or "C1711-00" detected?

YES>>

Refer to DTC Diagnosis Procedure .

NO>>

To check malfunction symptom before repair: Refer to Intermittent Incident .

NO>>

Confirmation after repair: Inspection End.
