Diagnosis Procedure

  1. CHECK FUSE (ACCESSORY POWER SUPPLY) 
      1. Ignition switch OFF.
      2. Check 10 A fuse [No. 22, located in fuse block (J/B)]. Refer to Terminal Arrangement in appropriate Wiring Diagram. Refer to Wiring Diagram .

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES>>

    GO TO 2.

    NO>>

    Replace the blown fuse after repairing the affected circuit if a fuse is blown.

  2. CHECK A/C AUTO AMP. ACCESSORY POWER SUPPLY 
      1. Disconnect A/C auto amp. connector.
      2. Ignition switch ACC.
      3. Check voltage between A/C auto amp. harness connector and ground.
        + - Voltage(Approx.)
        A/C auto amp.
        Connector Terminal
        M54 3 Ground Battery voltage

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES>>

    GO TO 3.

    NO>>

    Repair harness or connector between A/C auto amp. and fuse.

  3. CHECK A/C AUTO AMP. GROUND CIRCUIT FOR OPEN 
      1. Ignition switch OFF.
      2. Check continuity between A/C auto amp. harness connector and ground.
        A/C auto amp. - Continuity
        Connector Terminal
        M54 2 Ground Yes

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES>>

    Replace A/C auto amp. Refer to Removal and Installation .

    NO>>

    Repair harness or connector.
