Removal and Installation

REMOVAL 

1. Drain the engine coolant. Refer to Draining .
   CAUTION:

   Perform this step when the engine is cold.

2. Remove the intake manifold. Refer to Removal and Installation .
3. Disconnect the CVT water hose A from the oil cooler. Refer to Exploded View .
4. Disconnect the water hose from the oil cooler.
5. Loosen oil cooler bolts in reverse of the sequence shown in the illustration and remove oil cooler.

   CAUTION:

   Do not reuse O-rings.

INSTALLATION 

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

• Tighten the oil cooler bolts to the specified torque in the sequence shown in the illustration.

  Oil cooler bolts

  : 10.0 N.m (1.0 kg-m, 7 ft-lb)

• Refill the engine coolant. Refer to Refilling .
