Diagnosis Procedure

1. 1. Ignition switch OFF.
   2. Disconnect rear outside handle assembly LH connector.
   3. Check voltage between rear outside handle assembly LH harness connector and ground.

      (+)		(-)	Voltage(Approx.)
      Rear outside handle assembly LH
      Connector	Terminal
      D215	5	Ground	Battery Voltage

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

GO TO 3.

NO>>

GO TO 2.

1. 1. Disconnect BCM connector.
   2. Check continuity between BCM harness connector and rear outside handle assembly LH harness connector.

      BCM		Rear outside handle assembly LH		Continuity
      Connector	Terminal	Connector	Terminal
      M19	44	D215	5	Yes

   3. Check continuity between BCM harness connector and ground.

      BCM		Ground	Continuity
      Connector	Terminal
      M19	44		No

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

Replace BCM. Refer to Removal and Installation .

NO>>

Repair or replace harness.

1. Check continuity between rear outside handle assembly LH harness connector and ground.

   Rear outside handle assembly LH		Ground	Continuity
   Connector	Terminal
   D215	6		Yes

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

GO TO 4.

NO>>

Repair or replace harness.

1. 1. Connect rear outside handle assembly LH connector.
   2. Check signal between BCM harness connector and ground with oscilloscope.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

GO TO 5.

NO>>

Replace rear outside handle assembly LH. Refer to Removal and Installation .
