Diagnosis Procedure

1. 1. Ignition switch OFF.
   2. Disconnect rear outside handle assembly RH connector.
   3. Check voltage between rear outside handle assembly RH harness connector and ground.

      (+)		(-)	Voltage(Approx.)
      Rear outside handle assembly RH
      Connector	Terminal
      D315	5	Ground	Battery Voltage

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

GO TO 3.

NO>>

GO TO 2.

1. 1. Disconnect BCM connector.
   2. Check continuity between BCM harness connector and rear outside handle assembly RH harness connector.

      BCM		Rear outside handle assembly RH		Continuity
      Connector	Terminal	Connector	Terminal
      M19	43	D315	5	Yes

   3. Check continuity between BCM harness connector and ground.

      BCM		Ground	Continuity
      Connector	Terminal
      M19	43		No

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

Replace BCM. Refer to Removal and Installation .

NO>>

Repair or replace harness.

1. Check continuity between rear outside handle assembly RH harness connector and ground.

   Rear outside handle assembly RH		Ground	Continuity
   Connector	Terminal
   D315	6		Yes

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

GO TO 4.

NO>>

Repair or replace harness.

1. 1. Connect rear outside handle assembly RH connector.
   2. Check signal between BCM harness connector and ground with oscilloscope.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

GO TO 5.

NO>>

Replace rear outside handle assembly RH. Refer to Removal and Installation .
