Diagnosis Procedure

1. 1. Ignition switch OFF.
   2. Disconnect front outside handle assembly LH connector.
   3. Check voltage between front outside handle assembly LH harness connector and ground.

      (+)		(-)	Voltage(Approx.)
      Front outside handle assembly LH
      Connector	Terminal
      D11	5	Ground	Battery Voltage

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

GO TO 3.

NO>>

GO TO 2.

1. 1. Disconnect BCM connector.
   2. Check continuity between BCM harness connector and front outside handle assembly LH harness connector.

      BCM		Front outside handle assembly LH		Continuity
      Connector	Terminal	Connector	Terminal
      M19	92	D11	5	Yes

   3. Check continuity between BCM harness connector and ground.

      BCM		Ground	Continuity
      Connector	Terminal
      M19	92		No

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

Replace BCM. Refer to Removal and Installation .

NO>>

Repair or replace harness.

1. Check continuity between front outside handle assembly LH harness connector and ground.

   Front outside handle assembly LH		Ground	Continuity
   Connector	Terminal
   D11	6		Yes

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

GO TO 4.

NO>>

Repair or replace harness.

1. 1. Connect front outside handle assembly LH connector.
   2. Check signal between BCM harness connector and ground with oscilloscope.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

GO TO 5.

NO>>

Replace front outside handle assembly LH. Refer to Removal and Installation .

1. Refer to Intermittent Incident .
