Diagnosis Procedure

1. Check steering switch circuit. Refer to DTC Diagnosis Procedure (B221A) or DTC Diagnosis Procedure (B221B).

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

GO TO 2.

NO>>

Repair or replace harness or connector.

1. Check steering switch resistance. Refer to Component Inspection (B221A) or Component Inspection (B221B).

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

GO TO 3.

NO>>

Replace steering switch. Refer to Removal and Installation .

1. Check combination switch (spiral cable) for continuity. Refer to Component Inspection (B221A) or Component Inspection (B221B).

Is the inspection result normal?

YES>>

Replace combination meter. Refer to Removal and Installation .

NO>>

Replace spiral cable. Refer to Removal and Installation .
