Removal and Installation

CAUTION:

Before replacing CAN gateway, perform "Before Replace ECU" of "Read / Write Configuration" to save or print current vehicle specification. Refer to Description .

REMOVAL

Disconnect the battery or batteries. Refer to Removal and Installation .
Remove glove box assembly. Refer to Removal and Installation .
Disconnect the harness connector (A) from the 3CH CAN gateway (1).

Remove 3CH CAN gateway from the bracket by sliding it out as shown in the illustration.

INSTALLATION

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

CAUTION:

To prevent malfunction, be sure to perform "After Replace ECU" of "Read / Write Configuration" or "Manual Configuration" when replacing CAN gateway. Refer to Description .
