Diagnosis Procedure

  1. CHECK DTC WITH FRONT CAMERA UNIT 

    Check that DTC is not detected with front camera unit.

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES

    GO TO 2.

    NO

    Refer to DTC Index .

  2. CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS 

    Perform the trouble diagnosis for CAN communication system. Refer to Trouble Diagnosis Flow Chart .

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES

    GO TO 3.

    NO

    Repair or replace harness.

  3. REPLACE FRONT CAMERA UNIT AND ERASE DTC 
    1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
    2. Replace front camera unit. Refer to Removal and Installation .
    3. Turn ignition switch ON.
    4. Select "Self Diagnostic Result" mode of "H/L control module LH" using CONSULT.
    5. Erase DTC, and then repeat "DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE". Refer to DTC Description .

    Is DTC detected?

    YES

    Replace front combination lamp LH. Refer to Removal and Installation .

    NO

    INSPECTION END
