Work Procedure

With CONSULT

1. Turn ignition switch ON.
2. Select "Configuration" mode of "ADAPTIVE LIGHT" using CONSULT.
3. Perform "Before Replace ECU" of "Read / Write Configuration" to save or print current vehicle specification. Refer to Description .
   NOTE: If "Before Replace ECU" of "Read / Write Configuration" cannot be used, use the "Manual Configuration" after replacing AFS Control Unit.

GO TO 2.

1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Replace AFS Control Unit. Refer to Removal and Installation .

GO TO 3.

With CONSULT

1. Turn ignition switch ON.
2. Select "Configuration" mode of "ADAPTIVE LIGHT" using CONSULT.
3. Perform "After Replace ECU" of "Read / Write Configuration" or "Manual Configuration" to write vehicle specification. Refer to Description .

GO TO 4.

Perform sensor initialize. Refer to Description .
