Work Procedure

CHECK REPLACEMENT PARTS

Check replacement parts.

When replacing LBC only or replacing LBC and one module simultaneously

GO TO STEP 2 .

When replacing Li-ion battery or replacing LBC and all modules simultaneously

GO TO STEP 3 .

SAVE LI-ION BATTERY CONTROLLER INFORMATION

CAUTION:
Be sure to perform this procedure before replacing parts.

With CONSULT
1. Select "WORK SUPPORT" mode of "HV BAT".
2. Select "SAVE BATTERY INFORMATION DATA".
3. Save the LBC internal information.
GO TO STEP 3 .

SAVING VEHICLE SPECIFICATION

CONSULT Configuration

Perform "Before Replace ECU" of "Read / Write Configuration" to save or print current vehicle specification.

NOTE:
If "Before Replace ECU" of "Read / Write Configuration" can not be used, use the "Manual Configuration" after replacing LBC.

GO TO STEP 4 .

REMOVAL OF PART

Remove part requiring replacement.
- Replace LBC: Refer to DISASSEMBLY AND ASSEMBLY .
- Replace module: Refer to DISASSEMBLY AND ASSEMBLY .
- Replace Li-ion battery: Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
When replacing LBC only or replacing Li-ion battery

GO TO STEP 6 .

When replacing LBC and one modules simultaneously or replacing LBC and all modules simultaneously

GO TO STEP 5 .

PERFORM "ADDITIONAL SERVICE WHEN REPLACING MODULE"

Perform "ADDITIONAL SERVICE WHEN REPLACING MODULE". Refer to WORK PROCEDURE .

GO TO STEP 6 .

INSTALLATION OF PART

Install part.
- Replace LBC: Refer to DISASSEMBLY AND ASSEMBLY .
- Replace module: Refer to DISASSEMBLY AND ASSEMBLY .
- Replace Li-ion battery: Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
GO TO STEP 7 .

WRITING VEHICLE SPECIFICATION

CONSULT Configuration

Perform "After Replace ECU" of "Read / Write Configuration" or "Manual Configuration" to write vehicle specification. Refer to WORK PROCEDURE .

When replacing LBC only or replacing LBC and one modules simultaneously

GO TO STEP 8 .

When replacing Li-ion battery or replacing LBC and all modules simultaneously

WORK END

WRITE LI-ION BATTERY CONTROLLER INFORMATION

With CONSULT
1. Select "WORK SUPPORT" mode of "HV BAT".
2. Select "WRITE BATTERY INFORMATION DATA".
3. Write LBC information data saved in CONSULT into a new LBC.
WORK END
