Diagnosis Procedure

  1. CHECK DTC WITH HEADLAMP CONTROL UNIT LH

    Check that DTC is not detected with headlamp control unit LH.

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES 

    GO TO STEP 2  .

    NO 

    Refer to DTC INDEX .

  2. CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS

    Perform the trouble diagnosis for CAN communication system. Refer to TROUBLE DIAGNOSIS FLOW CHART .

    Is the inspection result normal?

    YES 

    GO TO STEP 3  .

    NO 

    Repair or replace harness.

  3. REPLACE HEADLAMP CONTROL UNIT LH AND ERASE DTC

    1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
    2. Replace front combination lamp LH. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
    3. Turn ignition switch ON.
    4. Select "Self Diagnostic Result" mode of "H/L control module RH" using CONSULT.
    5. Erase DTC, and then repeat "DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE". Refer to DTC DESCRIPTION .

    Is DTC detected?

    YES 

    Replace front combination lamp RH. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

    NO 

    INSPECTION END
