Diagnosis Procedure
- CHECK BCM INPUT SIGNAL
Check the BCM input signal. Refer to COMPONENT FUNCTION CHECK .
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO STEP 2.
NO
GO TO STEP 3.
- CHECK COMBINATION METER INPUT SIGNAL
Select the METER/M&A Data Monitor and check the DOOR W/L monitor value.
"DOOR W/L" Door open : On Door closed : Off Is the inspection result normal?
YES
Replace combination meter. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
NO
Replace BCM. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- CHECK BACK DOOR SWITCH SIGNAL CIRCUIT
Check the back door switch signal circuit. Refer to DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE .
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO STEP 4.
NO
Repair harness or connector.
- CHECK BACK DOOR SWITCH
Perform a unit check for the back door switch. Refer to COMPONENT INSPECTION .
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
Replace combination meter. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
NO
Replace back door switch. Refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
