Diagnosis Procedure

- CHECK 4WD SHIFT SWITCH
Perform trouble diagnosis for 4WD shift switch. Refer to "DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE ".
Is the inspection result normal?
YES: GO TO 2.
NO: Repair or replace error-detected parts.
- CHECK 4WD MODE INDICATOR LAMP
Perform trouble diagnosis for 4WD mode indicator. Refer to "DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE ".
Is the inspection result normal?
YES: GO TO 3.
NO: Repair or replace error-detected parts.
- CHECK THE INFORMATION DISPLAY
Check that information except 4WD mode is displayed on information display.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES: Replace transfer control unit. Refer to "REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".
NO: Check information display. Refer to "ON BOARD DIAGNOSIS FUNCTION ".
