Self-Diagnostic Mode Cannot Be Entered

  1. Turn ignition switch to OFF, then ON position. If warning lights operate, go to next step. If warning lights do not operate, check combination meter power and ground circuits. See POWER SUPPLY & GROUND CIRCUIT CHECK  .
  2. Remove combination meter. See COMBINATION METER  . Check screws securing speedometer and Flexible Printed Circuit (FPC). See Figure . If screws are tight, replace speedometer or FPC as necessary. If screws are loose, tighten as necessary and repeat combination meter self-diagnostics. See ENTERING SELF-DIAGNOSTIC MODE  .
