Combination Meter

  1. Disable air bag system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM in AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS article in RESTRAINTS. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove the cluster lid See CLUSTER LID under INSTRUMENT PANEL.
  2. Rotating the combination meter so that the left-side is in front, turn it until the meter face comes to the top. To prevent meter damage during removal, protect the meter with shop rags.
  3. While pulling combination meter forward, pull it out to the right (combination meter back-side facing forward).
