Check CAN BUS Short to Ground
- Ignition "OFF".
- Disconnect CAN communication modules.
- Measure the resistance between CAN-HIGH terminal of DLC harness connector and chassis ground
- Measure the resistance between CAN-LOW terminal of DLC harness connector and chassis ground
Specification: Discontinuity (Infinite Ω)
- Is the measured resistance within specification?
YES
- Go to "CHECK CAN BUS SHORT TO BATTERY ".
NO
- Repair short to ground in circuit and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR ".
