Check CAN BUS Short to battery

  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect CAN communication modules.
  3. Ignition "ON"
  4. Measure the voltage between CAN-HIGH terminal of DLC harness connector and chassis ground
  5. Measure the voltage between CAN-LOW terminal of DLC harness connector and chassis ground

    Specification:  Approx. 0V

  6. Is the measured voltage within specification?

    YES 

    NO
