Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Monitoring the deviation of short term fuel trim
  1. Poor connector connection
  2. Restriction in intake system
  3. Fuel injector leakage
  4. Improper fuel pressure
Enable Condition
  • No relevant failure
  • Lambda adaptation active
  • Coolant temperature is higher than 73°C (163°F)
  • Low estimated fuel dilution in oil
Threshold Value
  • Part load long term fuel trim is lower than -25%
Diagnostic Time
  • 90 seconds
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
