Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Monitoring the deviation of short term fuel trim
  1. Poor connector connection
  2. Air leakage or restriction in intake or exhaust system
  3. Faulty upstream O2 sensor
  4. Faulty MAP sensor
  5. Faulty fuel system
  6. Faulty EVAP system
  7. Faulty sensor signals
Enable Condition
  • No relevant failure
  • Lambda adaptation active
  • Coolant Temp. is higher than 73°C (163°F)
Threshold Value
  • Part load long term fuel trim is higher than 25%
Diagnostic Time
  • 90 seconds
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
