Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Electrical check
  1. Poor connection or damaged harness
  2. Faulty ECT #2 sensor circuit
  3. Faulty ECT #2 sensor
Enable Condition
  • -
Threshold Value
  • When the temperature measured by the engine block coolant temperature sensor (ECTS # 2) is detected as a signal noise due to a sudden rapid change (change of more than 1V for 2 second)
Diagnostic Time
  • 10 seconds
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
