Detecting Condition |
Possible Cause |
| DTC Strategy |
- Cooling water temperature check
|
- Poor Connector Connection
- Faulty ITM circuit
- Faulty ECTS
- Faulty ITM
|
| Enable Condition |
- Percentage of deceleration fuel cut-off time less than 15%
- Percentage of low load condition less than 50% (air volume less than 20 to 35kg/h, depending on outside temperature)
- Percentage of high speed condition less than 90% (vehicle speed more than 140km/h (86.99MPH))
- Percentage of low speed condition less than 90% (vehicle speed less than 40km/h (24.85MPH))
- The percentage of the automatic engine stop condition less than 15%
- Do not maintain high engine speed in stop mode.
- Based on high engine speed (over 4800RPM)
- High engine speed retention time for more than 10 seconds
- Decrease of coolant temperature at high engine rotation more than 2.25°C (36°F)
- ECT temperature at start -6°C to 54.75°F (21.2°C to 130.55°F)
- When the intake air temperature is higher than -6°C (21.2°F)
- Ambient temperature is higher than -6°C (21.2°F)
- If there are no related errors
|
| Threshold Value |
- When the ECT temperature measured at a ECT model temperature of higher than 85°C (185°F) is lower than 73.9°C (165°F)
|
| Diagnostic Time |
- 10 to 30 minutes (depending on coolant temperature and operating conditions at engine start-up)
