Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Plausibility Monitoring
  1. Poor connector connection
  2. Open or short in harness
  3. Faulty wheel speed sensor
  4. Faulty ABS or ESC control unit
  5. Faulty PCM
Enable Condition
  • Engine speed is higher than 2100 RPM
  • Air mass flow is higher than 0.44g/revolution
  • No fuel injection shut off
  • Coolant Temp. is higher than 25°C (77°F)
Threshold Value
  • VSS is equal 0 with high engine speed and load
Diagnostic Time
  • 60 seconds
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
