Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Deviation of Long Term Fuel Trim Monitoring
  1. Poor Connector Connection
  2. Air leakage or restriction in intake or exhaust system
  3. Faulty HO2S
  4. Faulty three-way catalyst converter (TWC)
Enable Condition
  • Canister purge valve is not open state (Canister Load learning)
  • Downstream O2 sensor is active
  • Battery voltage higher than 11V and lower than 16V
  • No relevant DTC present
Threshold Value
  • Trim Value (Lambda Value) less than -0.05
Diagnostic Time
  • 60 sec.
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 Driving Cycles
