Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Voltage range check
  1. Poor connector connection
  2. Short to battery in signal circuit
  3. Open in ground circuit
  4. Faulty MAPS
  5. Faulty PCM
Enable Condition
  • DTC failure not detected
  • Battery voltage between 11 and 16V
Threshold Value
  • MAPS signal voltage is more than 4.85V
Diagnostic Time
  • 2 seconds
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
