Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Performance check
  1. Poor connector connection
  2. Faulty rear HO2S circuit
  3. Faulty rear HO2S
Enable Condition
  • Battery voltage is between 11 and 16V
  • Downstream O2 sensor normal heating time for more than 58s
  • Engine off duration for more than 60 minutes
Threshold Value
  • Oxygen sensor heating current is below threshold (0.4 to 1.15A)
Diagnostic Time
  • 12 seconds
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
