Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Electrical check
  1. Poor connector connection
  2. Short to battery in control circuit
  3. Faulty exhaust VFS
  4. Faulty PCM
Enable Condition
  • Battery voltage is between 10.7 and 16.1V
Threshold Value
  • Short to battery in intake VFS circuit
Diagnostic Time
  • 2 seconds
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
