WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy Case 1
  • Plausibility Check (low load)
  1. Poor connector connection
  2. Faulty MAPS
  3. Faulty MAFS
  4. Sensor contamination by foreign matter (moisture etc.)
  5. Blockage or damage to intake system
  6. Carbon deposition of throttle body
Case 2
  • Plausibility Check (high load)
Enable Condition Case 1
  • Engine speed during engine start is more than 450 RPM
  • Pressure quotient (MAP/BARO) less than 0.8
Case 2
  • Engine speed during engine start more than 450 RPM
  • Pressure quotient (MAP/BARO) greater than 0.8
Threshold Value Case 1
  • Filtered reduced area controller versus ambient pressure, throttle position between -90 to -40% and 40 to 90%
Case 2
  • Filtered ambient pressure controller versus ambient pressure value between -30 to -20% and 20 to 30%
Diagnostic Time
  • 5s
MIL ON Condition
