Power Circuit Inspection
- Turn the ignition switch & engine "OFF"
- Disconnect the Interior Antenna #3 (trunk antenna) and SMK ECU connector.
- Measure the resistance between chassis ground and the power circuit of the Interior Antenna #3 (trunk antenna).
- Measure the resistance between the power circuits of the SMK ECU and Interior Antenna #3 (trunk antenna).
Specification: Infinity (with a ground short)
Approx. below 1Ω (with an open)
- Is the result within specifications?
YES
- Go to "GROUND CIRCUIT INSPECTION ".
NO
- Inspection the power circuit for an open or short. Repair relevant component(s) as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR ".
