DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Trouble Shooting Condition Possible Cause
Main Action
  • Monitoring CAN messages
  1. Faulty Cluster system
  2. Faulty ESP (ESC) system
  3. Open or short in C-CAN communication line
Prerequisite Condition
  • Engine is on (Confirm that an engine operation signal is sent from EMS for over 2 seconds)
  • Battery Voltage is between 9V and 16V
  • Ignition has been on for over 2 seconds
  • CAN communication lines are normal
  • No CAN Bus Off
Threshold Value
  • When AEB (SCC) Module received abnormal message (Invalid vehicle speed) from Cluster via C-CAN.
Diagnosis Time
  • 500 milliseconds
MIL
  • SCC/AEB Disengagement/Shutdown
  • SCC/AEB Warning lamp turns 'ON'
