Check Open in CAN Communication Line

  1. Turn the Ignition switch 'OFF'.
  2. Disconnect AEB (SCC) Module connector and ABS/ESP connector.
  3. Measure the resistance between C-CAN High terminal of AEB (SCC) Module harness connector and C-CAN High terminal of ESP (ESC/HECU) harness connector.
  4. Measure the resistance between C-CAN Low terminal of AEB (SCC) Module harness connector and C-CAN Low terminal of ESP (ESC/HECU) harness connector.

    Specification:  Below 1Ω

  5. Is the measured value within specification?

    YES 

    • Check AEB (SCC) Module, ESP (ESC) Module connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary, and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
