Repair Procedures: Removal

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Turn the ignition switch OFF and then disconnect the battery negative (-) terminal (A).

    Tightening Torque: 

    3.9 - 5.9 N.m (0.4 - 0.6 kgf.m, 2.9 - 4.4 lb-ft)

  2. Remove the battery.

    (Refer to Charging System - "BATTERY ")

  3. Remove the battery sensor (-) terminal assembly after loosening the mounting bolt (A).

    Tightening Torque: 

    26.5 - 34.3 N.m (2.7 - 3.5 kgf.m, 19.5 - 25.3 lb-ft)
