Check CMPS, CKPS

- Turn the ignition switch "OFF".
- Select "vehicle scope meter" in the menu, and connect channel A of GDS with signal terminal of CKPS harness connector.
- Connect Channel B of GDS with power or signal terminal of CMPS harness connector.
- Engine start. And check the signal waveforms.
Specification: Refer to SIGNAL WAVEFORM & DATA
- Is the result within specifications?
YES
- Go to "CHECK TIMING MARK ".
NO
- Replace the CKPS/CMPS with an usable one and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace the CKPS/CMPS and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR ".
