Component Inspection

■ EWGA Inspection 

1. Monitor "Current Data" during actuating EWGA "Actuation Test".
2. Visually check the position of the EWGA during activation referring to below Fig 1Fig 2.

   Specification  :

3. Is parameter displayed within specifications?

   YES 

   • Check for poor connection between PCM and component: backed out terminal, improper mating, broken locks or poor terminal to wire connection. Repair as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.

   NO 

   • Substitute with a known - good EWGA and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace EWGA and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
