  1. IG "OFF". Disconnect knock sensor connector.
  2. Measure resistance of the ground circuit between the sensor connector and the PCM connector.

    Specification:  Approx. 0Ω

    YES 

    • Go to next step below.

    NO 

    • Repair as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR" procedure.
