DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Monitor the current of fuel pump
  1. Poor Connection
  2. Open or short in three phase control circuit
  3. Blockage of fuel filter
  4. Blockage of fuel line
  5. Fuel pump
  6. Fuel pump control module (FPCM)
Enable Conditions
  • Target fuel pressure is higher than 250 kpa and lower than 600 kpa.
  • Engine Running
  • Battery voltage is higher than 10 V
Case 1 Threshold Value
  • The current of fuel pump is lower than 0.2 A
Diagnosis Time
  • 2 sec.
Case 2 Threshold Value
  • The current of fuel pump is higher than 11 A
Diagnosis Time
  • 2 sec.
MIL On Condition
  • NO MIL
