Seal Inspection on the Fuel Pump & Vent Valve

■ Visual Inspection 

1. Check that the fuel pump is tight and properly installed. Check that Vent Valve flange is secure (Fig 1)
2. Check that the seal, installed on fuel pump and vent valve, is not missing, deformed or torn out (Fig 2)
3. Check that the flange contacting seal with fuel pump and vent valve, is not deformed or torn out (Fig 3)

4. Has a problem been found?

   YES 

   • Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.

   NO 

   • Go to "VENT VALVE INSPECTION "
